1. Discipline Construction & Development
    After years of development, SEBA has completed the development of disciplines. The three first-tier doctoral disciplines are Business Administration (covering all second-tier disciplines under it), Management Science and Engineering, Applied Economics (covering all second-tier doctoral disciplines under it).The three first-tier postdoctoral discipline research stations are Business Administration, Management Science and Engineering, Applied Economics. The five first-tier disciplines are Applied Economics, Business Administration, Management Science and Engineering, Public Management, Library Information and Archives Management. The 7 professional degrees are EMBA, MBA, MPAcc, MPA, Master of International Business, Master of Finance, and Master of Engineering. In addition, there are 9 undergraduate disciplines, national priority disciplines in Technology Economy and Management, two featured disciplines of advantages (Business Administration, Marketing), and state-level Demonstration Center for Experimental Teaching of Economic Management.

4. China Management Review
   The "Major Management Review" Academic journal was established in early 2014, and currently it is published in "Book Journal" model, publishing at least 1 volume in the initial stage. Purpose of the journal is to "build a broad academic platform to promote academic exchanges at home and abroad, to promote scientific and rigorous academic style, to encourage the use of internationally accepted academic research methods for China's economic reform and enterprise development ". The journal shall provide domestic and international experts and scholars in economic management with a world-class academic exchange platform, reflecting forefront of theoretical research results of China's economic management issues from comprehensive perspectives of multi-angle, multi-level, multi-field, and gradually influencing domestic and foreign scholars' research perspectives.

The Institute was established in 2005, listed as 985 Humanities and Social Science Innovation Base
2) Chongqing University - Wharton Joint Financial Research Center
In 2013, Chongqing University School of Economics and Business Administration (hereinafter referred to as CQUSEBA), and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business (the world's earliest established top business school) jointly established the Chongqing University - Wharton Joint Financial Research Center
3) Chongqing University Business Administration and Economic Development Research Center
Chongqing University Business Administration and Economic Development Research Center is under Chongqing University School of Economics and Business Administration, certified as Chongqing Key Humanities and Social Science Innovation Base in March.2003
4) Chongqing Key Laboratory of Modern Logistics
Chongqing Key Laboratory of Modern Logistics was approved by Chongqing Science and Technology Commission in September 2010，sponsored by Chongqing University School of Economics and Business Administration

5) Chongqing University Research Institute of Energy Economy
Chongqing University Research Institute of Energy Economy was established in 2008, relying on "Technology Economy and Management"，"Electrical Engineering" and other energy-related national key disciplines in Chongqing University, it focuses on relevant system research, and policies regarding energy-saving, emission reduction, new energy development and utilization on the basis of "electricity power economy".
6) Chongqing Tourism Talent Development Research Institute
According to the “Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Tourism Supported by Science, Education and Enhanced by Personnel” signed between Chongqing University and Chongqing Tourism Bureau at the end of 2012, Chongqing University established the “Chongqing Tourism Talent Development Institute." on January 9, 2014
7) Chongqing University - Blue Ocean Financial Research Center
In 2013, Chongqing Blue Ocean Financing Guarantee Co., Ltd. made donation to Chongqing University Education Foundation, establishing "Chongqing University - Blue Ocean Financial Research Center" dedicated to financial academic frontier research and development of finance disciplines
8) Securities Research Institute of Chongqing University
Chongqing University Institute of Securities was established in 1995。The first director of the Institute was senior professor, doctoral tutor Yang Xiu Tai from SEBA. The second director was the vice president of Chongqing University, doctoral tutor Prof. Meng Weidong. And the current director, Dr. Zhou Xiaohua, is a Professor of Finance Department under SEBA.
9) Finance and Accounting Research Center of Chongqing University
The Center was established in 2010 by Professor Liu Xing, a key project leader and chief expert of National Natural Science Foundation, member of Discipline Review Group of Academic Degrees Committee, State Council.
