1. Business Administration and Economic Development Research Center of Chongqing University
    The Center was established within SEBA, certified as a 985 Chongqing Key Base of Humanities and Social science in March, 2003. Since its foundation, under the supervision from Chongqing Education Commission, guidance from the Academic Committee of the center, leadership and care from Chongqing University, with strong support of academic peers both at home and abroad, based on the construction standards, the center has organized new approaches of high level researches regarding major issues of national development strategy, Chongqing social and economic development. It plays a key role in innovative outputs, establishment of academic exchange platform, and promoting Chongqing University research in philosophy and social science.

2. Chongqing Key Laboratory of Modern Logistics
    Chongqing Key Laboratory of Modern Logistics was approved by Chongqing Science and Technology Commission in September 2010，and sponsored by Chongqing University School of Economics and Business Administration with 2500-squre-meters laboratory, 600-squre-meters library. Centered around development direction of modern logistics discipline, combined with the actual needs of Chongqing's economic construction and social development, the key Laboratory mainly conducting teaching and research work on modern logistics, supply chain theory and methods, modern logistics and advanced manufacturing coordination, logistics information system and logistics optimization, basic theory and application of reverse logistics.

3. Chongqing University Research Institute of Energy Economy
    Chongqing University Research Institute of Energy Economy was established in 2008, relying on "Technology Economy and Management"，"Electrical Engineering" and other energy-related national key disciplines in Chongqing University, it forces on researching relevant systems, and policies regarding energy-saving emission reduction, new energy development and utilization on the basis of "electricity energy ". The 5 directions of research under it are
Energy Environment and Economic Development, Energy Strategy and industrial Organization, Energy Investment, Financing and Evaluation Methods, Energy Market and Enterprise System Reform, Energy Enterprise Management and Optimization Decision.
4. Chongqing University - Wharton Joint Financial Research Center
    In 2013, Chongqing University School of Economics and Business Administration, and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School Of Business (the world's earliest established top business school, top1) jointly set up the Chongqing University - Wharton Joint Financial Research Center. With excellent resources from Wharton, The center, with the advantage of Wharton resources, combined with the new needs of China's economic and social development in particular, has carried out high-level cooperative research in key areas such as financial system innovation, financial market structure, corporate finance and corporate governance, and organized high-end finance talent education project to further improve the international level of the SEBA, to promote personnel training and discipline construction, and to make due contributions to build Chongqing to regional financial center

5. Chongqing Tourism Talent Development Research Institute
    According to the “Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Tourism Supported by Science and Education and Enhanced by Personnel” signed by Chongqing University and Chongqing Tourism Bureau at the end of 2012, Chongqing University established the “Chongqing Tourism Talent Development Institute." on January 9, 2014, which is a cooperative institution between the Bureau and University. According to Chongqing University〔2014〕12 document, the Institute is attached to School of Economics and Business Administration, and the first dean is Long Yong

The main task of the Institute is to train high-end talent for tourism industry in Chongqing. Relying on the three tier-one doctoral disciplines, namely Business Administration, Applied Economics and Landscape Architecture，plus MBA / EMBA programs, high-end training programs to develop tourism professionals. At the same time, provide related tourism research and consulting services for Chongqing People's Government, Chongqing Tourism Bureau.
Currently the Research Institute has doctoral 6 tutors, 12 master’s tutors and other teachers, involved in tourism strategic planning, e-commerce of tourism, tourism economy, tourism finance and landscape planning and other research directions. Professor Long Yong is a tourism decision consultant for Chongqing People's Government; Professor Pu Yongjian and Long Yong are advisers for Chongqing tourism economy. Since the establishment of the Institute, it has cultivated 13 doctoral students, more than 20 master's degree students, carried out special training 4 times, conducted 11 tourism research projects, participated in more than 20 reviews on provincial and ministerial level tourism planning projects, published more than 50 articles on important domestic and foreign journals and has been rated as Chongqing advanced Team of tourism。

6. Chongqing University - Blue Ocean Financial Research Center
    In 2013, in order to support the development of education in Chongqing University, strengthen cooperation between university and top enterprises, to make research expertise in school intellectual support for enterprise development, Chongqing Blue Ocean Finance Guarantee Co., Ltd. Made donation to the Chongqing University Education Foundation and set up "Blue Ocean Research Fund" and "Chongqing University - Blue Ocean Financial Research Center" in School of Economics and Business Administration, committed to academic research forefront of financial disciplines to promote the development of financial disciplines in the school.

7. Securities Research Institute of Chongqing University
    Chongqing University Institute of Securities was established in 1995. The first director of the Institute was senior professor, doctoral tutor Mr. Yang Xiu Tai from SEBA. The second director was the vice president of Chongqing University, doctoral tutor Prof. Meng Weidong. And the current director, Dr. Zhou Xiaohua, is a professor of Finance Department under SEBA. Deputy deans are doctoral tutor Prof. Cheng Qi’an and Song Zengji from Department of Finance; other regular members are doctoral tutor Prof. Liu Bin and Dr. Xin Qingquan from Accounting Department, Associate Prof. Dr. Pi Tianlei, Wu Jun, Tu Guoqian, and lecturer Zhou Hongjun.
Regarding main functions of the Institute, the first is to strengthen in-depth study in our school in terms of stocks, bonds, other securities, capital market, investment and financing , so as to better serve the relevant discipline teaching in the school; second, to further expand, strengthen exchange and cooperation with security industry; third, actively participate in decision-making consultation and research for corporate bonds, local debts, government bonds and other aspects of debt securitization, so as to expand school influence in relevant areas and industry.

8. Finance and Accounting Research Center of Chongqing University
    Based on disciplines of "Technology and Economic Management" ，"Business Administration" in Chongqing University，Finance and Accounting Research Center of Chongqing University contributes logic and evidence of Chinese market to international academic circle, centered around "corporate finance, corporate governance and accounting information" in China's transitional system with Chinese context and emphasis of international visions.
